Raised in New York City, and given her first camera at the age of eight, Didi has photographed throughout her life. Since relocating to New South Wales, Australia in March of 2001, she has been based from a small, coastal town. Previously, she has worked as a commercial photographers agent and studio manager, as well as mentoring photo/media students, teaching  workshops, and exhibiting throughout the US.

"D" enjoys the adrenaline rush of candid photography, but creates distinctive portraits along with people-less, contemporary landscape and ‘Neo New Topographic’ images too. She is most interested in framing what is extraordinary about the ordinary, discovering nuance, gestures and fresh appearances... while tapping into the quotidian and commonplace of our collective unconscious. Didi is a co-founder of the AUSSIE STREET exhibition & competition.
